Fade Rug Burn Scar
Most burns can be avoided with care and of course ample sunscreen.

Second degree burns should heal in about two weeks. But if the wound takes seven to fourteen days it may or may not scar. Every rug burn does not culminate in a scar. There is some correlation between the manifestation of the scar and the time it takes to heal.
First degree burns should heal on their own within a week without causing scars. Wash off with water.
