Fallout 4 Mat Glitch Not Working

Fallout 4 mat glitch not working. Luckily i have the save from when i did it the first time but i cannot make it work now in my new game. I ve been away from fallout 4 for a bit and just recently tried the rug glitch. The patch launched last week for pc and is detailed below. Generally if the item you are trying to place makes contact with with the ground at a higher point than the rug the glitch won t work.

Started a new game tonight and nope won t work. Does not seem to work anymore. I had used the rug glitch trick to fill in all the holes in the walls in sanctuary. It was originally due to arrive.
