Fitbit Surge Not Counting Floors
I have restarted it that didnt work fed up with it it cost a fortune and doesnt work properly.
Fitbit surge not counting floors. I am assuming that the fitbit is broken but thought inwould raise the issue on here if it can be fixed easily with the app. Over the past week my fit bit has stopped counting floors. Not all flights are the same height or distance so if the flight you climbed is less than 10 feet you may find that the device s floor count doesn t exactly match how many floors you climbed. Bought it mid of january and it worked fine till 24th of february. The unit uses the air pressure altimeter to count floors and it only counts floors going up not down. I do have a similar problem with my fitbit surge. My fitbit surge is not counting floors ive been up down loads of times but it wont move off 2. Sorry for the delay in my reply. Last sunday i was out with wife and daughter and my surge recorded 188 floors. Exposure to excess moisture can also cause result in fewer floors.
Sometimes i wake up in the morning and have already 8 floors done. It will count 1 floor for every 10 ft it detects you climbed. I normally do around 40 60 floors a day and no i m lucky if it registers 1. Fitbit charge 2 fitbit one or fitbit surge.
Since 25th of february the floor count is a total nonsense.
